Our stay was very cozy and comfy. Loved all the historic decor and humongous bed lol. Great place to lay our heads after touring the beautiful city of Saint Charles. Thank you so much for everything. Will definitely be returning back.

Horrible it was very dark walking around the house and trying different rooms to get in with the code. We could not get in and had to drive home. I am thankful we were not far from St. Charles. I did not have a phone number to call the host about not being able to get into our room. I don't think we will try other bed and breakfast suites.

Great location and convenient for visiting the university

We arrived at the room around 4pm to find the room extremely uncomfortable (warm). I sent a message to the host advising him I was unable to locate a thermostat. The host advised he would turn the temperature down. My wife and I return from dinner around 8:30pm to find the temperature the same. I messaged the host again and received no response. I turned down the bed and approximately 15min later I was excessively itching. I got out of bed and found multiple swollen, red bumps on my legs. Seconds after, I witnessed a bug jump from one end of the bed to the middle. BED BUGS! My wife and I left this gross room around 10pm. Just to arrive back home around 11:30pm. Today, both of my legs are swollen, bumpy and itchy. I feel absolutely disgusting. I have never experienced accommodations like this before but I feel very very dirty. I am appalled at your lack of hospitality and your disgusting housekeeping.
