Historic 5th Street House - Fully Rehabbed # 2

Clean apartment. On the top floor so the stairs were a little difficult to navigate with bags. Blinds in most rooms were broken.

I am sorry to report our finding of the condition of this property sad. The unit had some upgrades, but there still was a hole in the bedroom wall, stains on furnture, paint bubbling and mold on ceiling in bath and the stairs, the first thing you see when you enter really needed paint. The linens were all new and nice, the AC worked great and kitchen was bare minimum. This is the first time I have ever left a review like this and I hope the owner gets out to his property to fix his problems.

I informed the host that the broken blinds in the bathroom offered no privacy to use the toilet or shower. The property comes with 3 sets of stairs that my mother could not navigate. This was not mentioned in property description by the host.The security light over the outside door was either blown or did not work. I talked to the host who let me believe I would be getting a refund. Repeated attempts to communicate have failed.But the place was clean and the check in procedure was fantastic.

Was a good meeting spot for us and friends. Basic needs met . Stairs to get in are steep so not a place for older people but worked just fine for us

It was nice. Be prepared for stairs; I wasn't. Also, there where no toiletries' available. The one time I don't pack shampoo/conditioner (because it's normally there) they didn't have any.
